Foundation
The Söllhuber Stiftung / Soellhuber Foundation based in Kronberg im Taunus was constituted in 2011. The main purpose of the foundation is the funding of eye surgeries plus surveillance for childhood blindness caused by cataract in Bangladesh. As the size of the donations for this project grew it became clear that it was advisable to create a foundation with exclusive focus on a specific charitable target in accordance with the law dedicated to tax privileged purposes (Abgabenordnung “AO”). In addition to that, the foundation enhances transparency and flexibility in our handling. The foundation’s capital came from our own funds reflecting our commitment to this project.
